Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders including regulators, statutory and non-statutory advisors, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently, and as part of the wider SSE Renewables team, managing internal and external resources and supporting and mentoring junior team members, deputising for senior colleagues and engaging in strategic discussions on complex technical and environmental issues. A good working knowledge and understanding of Dutch project governance around approvals and programme and financial management procedures will be required, as will an innovative approach when addressing consenting issues and their resolution. Experience and understanding of the offshore sector including environmental and ecology research programmes. To succeed in the role, we'd love you to have: Working as part of the wider SSE Renewables development team, with the potential to work across one of the largest development portfolios of offshore wind projects in a variety of different stages of development. Leading and delivering necessary consents and environmental input to seabed lease bids, managing specialist consultants and engaging with key stakeholders.

Keeping up to date with research programmes in the Netherlands to make sure SSE's involvement is at the cutting edge of the industry. Identifying environmental constraints and opportunities to support site identification. Working alongside the bid team to creatively to come up with ideas and written content to meet bid scoring criteria. Managing the delivery of ecological enhancements and mitigations from our Dutch projects ensuring they are aligned with Dutch research programmes and results are effectively communicated.
